To the Class of 08'....

Congratulations, after years of hard work in school, you get a big, fat, fucking recession! Yaaay!

According to a recent article in the New York Times, not only are there are less jobs and smaller wage increases, but shit like food and commodities continue to get more and more expensive. This is the worst economy in a generation.



Sweet job Baby Boomers, you've left the youth with so much hope and potential for the future! So, You Graduates, bright faced and full of optimism, collectively there is one monumental task that we all face: fixing the the shit our parents got us into!

As if the job of cleaning up after our geriatric parents when they become invalids and too old to take care of themselves wasn't enough, we now have to clean up the years of shitty environmental policies, Reaganenomics, war, and the Bushes that have left us with one giant, sopping heap of crap that is our country and our future. This is not a mess that we made, but one that is our burden.

So, here's to you, recent grads. and here's to our [uncertain] future. Good luck finding a job and paying bills. Next time you see mom and dad, make sure to thanks them.
